Support Worker 1-1

Service/Location: Aspens – Pembury, Kent, TN2 4QU

Are you a confident caring support worker looking for a challenge?

Do you enjoy a challenging environment where you can make a real difference?

If yes then please read on:

Hello, I’m a man in my 60’s and I’m looking for a support worker to help me at the weekends.

I’m a little shy at first but love very engaging people who talk to me a lot.

I love playing with my soft toys and organising my room along with the furniture. I also love being clean and normally have several baths per day!

I do have learning disabilities and Bipolar and can be verbally aggressive and throw things around. I don’t mean to do this but get upset if I’m ignored or if everything is untidy.

I want somebody who can take me out to the coffee shop, for walks and other interesting places.

I really enjoy my food so I hope you are a good cook!

We are recruiting a support worker to work one to one every weekend on a part time basis, however extra shifts are available in different services if you would prefer full time hours.

Saturday and Sunday 07:30 – 21:30

This job does involve lone working and you would be required to cook, clean, deliver personal care, update care notes and administer medication. Full support and training will be provided.
