Support Worker –Supported Living & Outreach Services for Adults
Littlehampton Office, Supporting around the South of West Sussex
Hours: Various hours/days and shift patterns available. Flexibility is required. Some Weekends

We are proud to have many years of experience supporting people in their own homes to enable them to live as independently as possible. Typically, the people we support have a diagnosis of  Autism/Aspergers, they may also have associated mental health conditions, typically depression, anxiety, OCD. 

We are looking for reliable, fun, flexible support workers.  Experience of working with people with a diagnosis of Autism/Learning Disabilities/Mental Health would be beneficial.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A Diploma/NVQ in Health and Social Care (not essential as training can be given)
  • Experience of working with people who have a diagnosis of Autism/Learning Disability and who experience mental health issues.
  • Have a working knowledge of the benefit and criminal justice systems
  • Be highly motivated and are able to work on their own initiative
  • Be well organised and able to prioritise tasks
  • A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Your main tasks will involve supporting individuals in a community setting. 

Activities which we enjoy with our Service Users include: cookery, art, bowling, days out to places of

interest, pottery, holidays, horse riding and many more. No two days are ever the same for us and

we need enthusiastic staff who enjoy supporting individuals with on-site and off-site activities. For

this reason, you must hold a full UK driving licence, and have access to your own vehicle with business insurance.
